WHY TEMPE

Tempe has the East Valley's oldest paver homes.

Tempe has been built up longer than its neighbors — many homes in Maple-Ash, Holdeman, and South Tempe have pavers that are 15–20 years old. After two decades of Arizona sun, these surfaces need more than a refresh seal — they often need full restoration: deep cleaning, joint re-sanding, and a strip-and-seal to remove old sealant before applying new.

We specialize in older paver restoration. The work is more involved than first-time sealing, but the result is dramatic — established Tempe homes can look brand-new again with the right process. We don't shortcut it.

TEMPE FAQ

Common questions from Tempe homeowners.

How quickly can you reach my Tempe property?
Tempe is 20–30 minutes from our Gilbert HQ. Estimates scheduled within a few days; restoration projects (more common in Tempe) typically take a full day or two.
My pavers are 15+ years old. Can they still be saved?
Almost always yes. Tempe's older pavers are usually structurally fine — it's the sealant that's failed. A strip-and-seal removes the old finish, exposes the original color, and applies a new premium sealant. Looks brand new.
Do you do work in historic neighborhoods like Maple-Ash?
Yes — historic Tempe is some of the most rewarding restoration work we do. We're respectful of the established character and use materials appropriate to vintage homes.
How long does a strip-and-seal take?
Typically 1–2 days depending on size. The strip phase is the time-consuming part — removing old sealant carefully without damaging the paver surface. Worth the wait.
Does a strip-and-seal cost more than a regular re-seal?
Yes — more labor and more materials. But on older pavers it's the only honest option. A regular re-seal over failed sealant traps moisture and looks worse than starting fresh.
How often after a strip-and-seal will I need to re-seal?
After the strip-and-seal, you're back on a normal 3–5 year cycle. Much easier maintenance going forward.
